SOLIDWORKS CAM Standard vs. SOLIDWORKS CAM Professional
This video explains both the SOLIDWORKS CAM Standard and the SOLIDWORKS CAM Professional packages available. Both packages are fully integrated into the SOLIDWORKS interface and provide tools like Knowledge-Based machining, Automatic Feature Recognition, an NC Editor, and so much more.
It uses rules-based machining to enhance the programming process while leveraging tolerances that are assigned to the component. Users can enhance their manufacturing process by capturing company standards, speed up quoting, and test manufacturability of a design earlier in the process.
