The First Night School of 2017 will showcase Drawings and Detailing in SOLIDWORKS. Hawk Ridge Systems engineers will cover tips, tricks, procedures, best practices, and more.Creating your ideal views and developing the perfect drawing can take quite a bit of time – let us show you how to improve your drawing efficiency using features you already have access to.

We’ll be discussing strategies on how to develop your process and introduce some of the key features available in SOLIDWORKS, such as:

  • Templates and Sheet Formats – Features that should be set up for every drawing you create, before you even start it. See the easy steps to create standard drawing templates within your company.
  • Drawing Views – Generating the perfect view for manufacturing is important, and SOLIDWORKS offers a wide variety of tools to help you capture the exact image you want in order to clearly communicate your design within the drawing. We will review these SOLIDWORKS Features and give some amazing tips on the full capabilities they offer.
  • Detailing – Once the views are placed, they usually need details to clearly communicate the intent of the design. There are many SOLIDWORKS tools to help you detail out your drawings, and we’ll be sharing  our knowledge  of nearly fifteen different tools that allow your day to be headache free.
  • Additional Tools – These tools are hidden gems–  we’ll  be sharing tips, tricks, and tools a lot of SOLIDWORKS users aren’t as familiar with. Be sure to attend our Night School to gain the knowledge you need to be the expert.
