A series of three modules to help you understand the reason many designers, engineers, students, and hobbyists choose SOLIDWORKS over any other CAD tool in the market.
There’s a reason many designers, engineers, students, and hobbyists choose SOLIDWORKS over any other CAD tool in the market. SOLIDWORKS uses underlying intelligence to drive your design and make changes easy.
You can design and document your products in collaborative workflows, create robust parts and assemblies, and use specialized tools for weldments, sheet metal, plastic molded parts, pipe routing, and more.

Damon Tordini is the Product Portfolio Manager for Hawk Ridge Systems based in southern California. A graduate of the aerospace engineering program at Cal Poly, Damon received the SOLIDWORKS Elite Applications Engineer award in 2012 and is a two-time presenter at 3DEXPERIENCE World. When he’s not waiting for his latest simulation to finish, you can probably find him making some kind of noise, which he claims is music.
Jason Roberson is a member of the Dassault Systemes Aerospace & Defense team bringing the power of digitalization and virtual twin experiences to the Defense and New Space economies. A retired USAF Colonel, he has extensive experience in air & space operations development, management, planning, and execution while leading personnel and programs through organizational change.
His Joint and coalition multi-domain experience spans five combatant commands, NATO, and the Royal Air Force.
