With over 30 years of experience in 3D CAD and industrial 3D printing, Fran Lairdieson has experienced multiple paradigm-shifting technologies in the design and manufacturing space. As the founder of DesignPoint Solutions, a SolidWorks reseller, in the late 90s, he helped hundreds of companies understand the dramatic impact that technology could have on their businesses. Following the acquisition of DesignPoint by Hawk Ridge Systems in 2021, he assumed the leadership of our hardware business unit to continue this journey with a larger team and an even more powerful portfolio of scanning and 3D printing technology.

Cameron Carson

Senior Vice President of Engineering

With over 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technologies, Cameron Carson has been instrumental in shaping strategic direction, overseeing technical sales and professional services, and driving growth in 3D printing solutions here at Hawk Ridge Systems. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic University and is an active member of SME and AMUG.
