Fran Lairdieson
With more than 30 years of experience in 3D CAD and Industrial 3D Printing, he has experienced multiple paradigm-shifting technologies in the design and manufacturing space. As the founder of DesignPoint Solutions, a SolidWorks reseller, he helped hundreds of companies understand the dramatic impact that technology could have on their businesses. Later through the expansion of the DesignPoint portfolio into industrial 3D printing, he again was able to help companies improve the efficiency of their businesses, this time through implementing modern, additive manufacturing technology. Following the acquisition of DesignPoint by Hawk Ridge Systems in 2021, he assumed the leadership of our Hardware business unit to continue on this journey with a larger team and even more powerful portfolio of scanning and 3D printing technology.
Fred Fischer
Bringing nearly 30 years of experience helping hundreds of companies adopt and scale 3D printing technologies across the full product lifecycle. Over his career, Fred has held multiple leadership roles across regions and functions, combining deep technical expertise with commercial strategy to guide organizations from prototyping through production. A long-time industry practitioner since the late 90s, he is known for translating complex technologies into practical, high-impact applications that deliver measurable value across industries including aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, and healthcare.
