What products are included in the SOLIDWORKS free trial?

The free trial offers you the latest release of SOLIDWORKS Premium and access to SOLIDWORKS Simulation, SOLIDWORKS MBD, SOLIDWORKS CAM, and SOLIDWORKS Visualize. Other products can be tested by request as well, please contact us and we will get those set up for you.

How long does the SOLIDWORKS free trial last?

The trial can last for 7, 15, or 30 days.

What version of SOLIDWORKS is the free trial?
The SOLIDWORKS Product Trial is always the latest and greatest version of SOLIDWORKS.
Do I need to download or install anything to use the free trial?
No, installation is not required. The product trial is an online trial environment and you can connect to an online storage account (Box, Google Drive, Dropbox) after you start the trial to store your files.
Which web browser should I use?
You can stream SOLIDWORKS to HTML5 compatible browsers, including the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge, on desktop devices, including Windows, Mac, Chromebooks, and Linux PCs.
How fast should my internet be?
SOLIDWORKS is leveraging the latest technology to deliver you incredible 3D software over the internet. With that in mind, we do suggest using this with a broadband connection of at least 3000/300 Kbps (Download/Upload). For best experience, we have found 5000/500 Kbps to be ideal for 1920×1080 resolution. For an acceptable experience, a minimum of 1000/100 is as low as a user should go.
