Deep in the engineering building on the San Jose State University campus, you’ll find a group of students tinkering around with everything from jigs to batteries – the Spartan Racing Electric team. This self-led crew works throughout the year to build a model from the ground up that will place at the annual international Formula SAE Electric Competition.
