CNC Milling 101 class is to introduce students to: different types of CNC machines, axis and direction +/-, touching off tools, cutter compensation, workholding/vises/step clamps, rotary, trunnions, v-blocks, cutting vise jaws/custom fixturing, and how to setup the machine to match the CAM system.

CNC MILLING 101

DESCRIPTION: The goal of this class is to introduce students to: different types of CNC machines, axis and direction +/-, touching off tools, cutter compensation, workholding/vises/step clamps, rotary, trunnions, v-blocks, cutting vise jaws/custom fixturing, and how to setup the machine to match the CAM system. This is all done through videos, and sample tooling, fixtures, and parts. Although we reference CAMWorks a great deal during this introductory course, it is not intended to replace any CAMWorks specific training. THIS CLASS IS ONLY TAUGHT IN ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA
