Ryan is a mechanical engineer and an avid SOLIDWORKS user since 2007. As a Senior Applications Engineer, he specializes in complex part modeling, analysis, and workflow consultation. Prior to Hawk Ridge Systems, Ryan worked in product design roles in the medical device and consumer products industries.

JACOB AMES
Applications Engineer

Jacob is an Applications Engineer for Hawk Ridge Systems in Bothell, WA, specializing in SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD, Simulation, and 3D Printers. Before joining Hawk Ridge, Jacob earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics from MIT with a focus on renewable fuels. If he's not teaching class, you'll probably find him playing video games with friends or tearing up some trails on a dirt bike.
