In case you might not have been aware, we wanted to alert you to an important year-end tax planning implication that you can take advantage of right now on your next purchase of SOLIDWORKS software.
Explaining Section 179
Essentially, Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and/or software purchased or financed during the tax year. That means that if you buy (or lease) a piece of qualifying equipment, you can deduct the FULL PURCHASE PRICE from your gross income. It’s an incentive created by the U.S. government to encourage businesses to buy equipment and invest in themselves.
Section 179 has been raised to $1,000,000 (one million dollars)
If you buy or finance SOLIDWORKS, 3D Printers, 3D Scanners, or any of Hawk Ridge Systems solutions you can deduct up to $1,000,000. To take the deduction for the tax year 2018, it must be put into service between January 1, 2018, and the end of the day on December 31, 2018.
Now is the best time to take full advantage of this tax incentive with the BIGGEST SOLIDWORKS Premium Promotion of the year and save $4,000!
